If your clothes catch on fire, "STOP, DROP AND ROLL!"

Always be careful around a stove, heater, or open flame.

If your friend's clothes catch on fire, don't let him or her run.

Call 9-1-1 from a neighbor's house

Stay low and leave the building or house IMMEDIATELY!

Never go back into a burning building.

Never attempt to put out the fire yourself

 

 

Yell "STOP, DROP AND ROLL!" and call 9-1-1.

Never play with matches or lighters

Shout as loud as you can "NO!" and get away quickly.

Don't take anything from a STRANGER

Don't talk to STRANGERS -they may try to hurt you.

Tell your parents, teacher or a trusted adult.

If an adult is not present call 9-1-1.

Remember what the person looked like so you can tell police.

Stay calm.

Stay where you are.

Your parents may be looking for you.

Give them a chance to find you.

If no one arrives soon, look for a POLICE OFFICER.

Know your ADDRESS and PHONE NUMBER.

If you can't find a POLICE OFFICER, find a phone and call 9-1-1. (Pay phones are free for 9-1-1 calls.)

Guns, knives and other weapons are very dangerous!

NEVER touch a weapon, no matter where you find it.

Leave it alone and tell your parents or a trusted adult.

If your parents or an adult are not present, call 9-1-1.

Tell the operator who you are, where you are, and what you found.

NEVER touch them.

Leave the area - get away from them.

Tell your parents, teacher, or a trusted adult.

If an adult is not present, call 9-1-1.

If someone tries to give you drugs yell "NO!" and get away quickly.

To call for police, firemen, or ambulance, dial 9-1-1.

Tell the operator what your problem is.

Stay on the phone; don't hang up.

Hang up only when you are told to do so or help arrives.
